+ what's in my bag? +

i first got to know one of my favorite writer within the online diary community called "diaryis". she is always my idol as she always writes such beautiful words, draws wonderful pics.. moreover, i fell in love with her handwriting.

today, we are still in touch and recently she's posted a series of things in her bag on facebook. i was so interested in her handmade notebook, which, she told me later, she bought in india! :)

anyway, she asked me to do the same kind of series.. so here it is!

i got this as a christmas gift from my mom-in-law, but my husband chose it for me. i mean i couldn't decide at all, among three of them.. but i'm so glad hamish didn't disappoint me! :) it is cheap. it is black. it is big.

these things are normally located in my bag, but sometimes there are unwanted things joining them - receipts, brochures, used tissue paper, maisie's panties! anyway, i think i need some more little cases to put things in properly, so it'd be a lot easier for me to find! at the moment, it seems like a chaos each time i'm looking for something in there..

my wallet is quite empty at the moment, except coins! :'( i got too much of those!

rescue remedy always makes wonders! do you prefer pads or tampons, by the way? :P

one more thing i'm unable to add is the iphone! as i use it to take these photos, sorry!!

ok! that's it for the bag tag. i really wish i had more cute stuff, more colorful stuff in my bag. well, wait and see! :)

+ happy moments +

i've never done this before. i mean writing away on my blog. anyway, i really want to see if it works better this way.

in december, i got the chance to go outdoors. of course, it wasn't that often but i tried my best to snap lots of photos. first, let's have a peek at my christmas tree! :)

cute and bright, aren't they?

next, it was about ruins at the historical park. so bad that day the weather wasn't nice at all, way too hot!

ok! how about some nature? i admit i can't take photos that well, but i'm pretty certain my work isn't that bad, right?
well.. at the moment, i feel quite inspired somehow - which, of course, is a good sign. i have so many plans in my head right now and i can't wait to be able to start real soon.

shieri, xoxo

at the park*

since we started homeschooling – which i’d rather say unschooling still, staying at home is not that interesting at all. we needed to find a place where is nice enough to focus on something and then we found it, the park next to the school.

in november 2009, the weather was really good. I was so into going there – just to sip my lovely coffee and breathe in beautiful air.

these are some photographs i took when we were at the park, back in late 2009. I really wish that nice weather will get back some time soon.

happy birthdays*

each year i always have these 3 birthdays to celebrate – one in october, another in november, the other in december. the birthday girls are zoe, nisha, maisie – in order.

this year, zoe has turned 7 and she’s homeschooled, or i’d rather say unschooled. she decided that herself. if she were in school still, she’d be a first-grader. anyway, school has changed her somehow, but now we’ve got her back. What else i could ask for more!

nisha has turned 5 this year. she decided that she would like it if she could celebrate at school with her friends. we brought the cake over to school and let her have great fun there. i think i’m one of those parents who aren’t bossy about and i’m so sure my kids would appreciate it more with the way we treat them.

anyway, early in the morning she opened birthday cards and presents from us.

and my cheeky monkey, maisie, has turned 3 this year. she seemed to grow up so very fast. and i can’t believe how proud of her i am, yes..in every way. she got her favourite character as one of the birthday presents. well, her birthday this year was pretty special as grandma came to stay with us for 3 weeks, hmm actually Christmas-wise. anyway, she had another day off school to visit the national science museum.

i have a lot more blogs coming up as i missed it sooo so much. xoxo

+ nature trip +

last weekend was the great chance for me to visit the nature. i am not the sort of person who enjoys nature that much. i mean i do love nature as it brings good air for me to breathe in.. :) well, i just love the beach too much, that’s all!

this trip happened as zoe went to join the 5-day camp up in the mountain with school. she did really have a great time and wanted to do this again next year. however, i went up there mainly to see her art and her friends’, see how she’s been and everything about her up there.

once we arrived at the camp, it didn’t take long at all for the sky to prepare the rain. still, we – the stubborn group – went out for a walk in the woods!

anyway, these are some of the pics i took during the short trip..

i really love this painting. i have no idea why. it looks so bright and seems to have some meanings to me. it’s like i can see the story in it but can’t quite explain it all..

so green, isn’t it? :) also, i love those fluffy clouds!

on our way home in the evening! so very beautiful..

i felt kind of stupid when i left my camera in the car instead of bringing it along to take nature snaps! all i got at the time was my iphone. and this photo was edited by ‘polarize’ app! cool, eh? :)
