busy. busy.

hello, world. i’ve been way too busy to write my blog, but finally i got this chance for a really quick update! :)

i actually haven’t been out much for a photo-shooting session, but i got quite some time to take some snapshots here and there.

at the park..

my big boy and i went there together just to kill time while waiting for something. he suggested we had a photo contest on the animal shot.

at children’s discovery museum

during school holidays, we couldn’t quite think of any places to go to. But this one special place was a must as the girls hasn’t been there for quite a while then.

at home

on the occasion of thai mother’s day!

at the port

oh yes, this kept me insane for a day. i mean we planned to pay a visit to this ship full of books on monday afternoon, and that very monday i felt sick still and we planned to go to science fair in the morning. it turned out that the science fair was too crowded and the ship wasn’t open as they had a special mission on service. thank you for telling no one about that!

after that, to keep the girls in the mood, we took them to get on a crossing boat and to a local market. of course, i’d love to buy so many things from there but got none. it rained!!!

so we decided that whatever would happen, we were going to the mv doulos again. yes, we did it and it was truly wonderful. i even consider becoming a volunteer and spend a year on this ship! can you believe that?

at the pier

my big boy and i went to my university library and we decided to take this boat crossing the river to the other side. it felt so great to be on it again after so many years!

at school

yeah, i was feeling bored, having nothing at all to do. typical shieri, huh?

at office

my work is actually actually piled up so high now and it doesn’t seem to finish growing quite yet. i sometimes wonder if i’ll ever finish all, but i keep telling myself “yes, i will. ‘cuz i know i can do it!”

oh, yes. i almost forgot! my big boy is going to take me to see ‘coco avant chanel’ as his mummy said so. hahaha. thank you, mummy jane. you know i love you. :)

oh, i am super excited! i really miss seeing audrey tautou on big screens.

OK! that’s it for my quick update.

til then, xoxo.

+ My Big Boy +

Oh well! I’m so loving these two weeks – last week and this week. I got to spend time with my big boy. Yippee! :D

And before that, we were together most of the time too. Going to cinemas, having wonderful yet simple meals, talking face-to-face, holding hands. I was oh so sweet and lovely.

I love being with him. Every minute with him means the whole world to me. I don’t know if he feels the same, but that doesn’t matter as long as he doesn’t mind having me by his side.

H.H. My big boy,

Thank you for everything.
I love you more and more each day.

Don’t feel too attached to your book. I miss you. :)

Still, I’d love to see your very own book very soon. :P

:D

+ Artsy-Fartsy Evening +

Woohoo! Finally I got to visit somewhere to do with art again last month.

I was looking forward to seeing Brook Andrew’s works properly after spotting some in newspapers and magazines. They all looked so interesting and very inspiring. His ideas on “Eye to Eye” are beyond the word “Sugoi!”

And I really felt so lucky to find out that the “Spring in White” exhibition was still around. I really wanted to see it but thought I wouldn’t have time for that. So I almost screamed ‘Hooray’ when I saw a sign leading the way to this exhibition!

Also, after seeing Eye to Eye, a very kind staff told me that there was another art exhibition upstairs – “Beauty of Men”. And WOW! It was oh so freakin’ cool. I loved it.

That night, I went back home feeling so inspired! :D

Moken Reflections

I’m so glad I’m back on the art & culture track. Earlier this month I went to see an exhibition called “Moken reflections” which was located not far from where I live. It was part of La Fete 2009 and I felt absolutely stunned by all the displays.

The exhibition showed us the way of living of these “Moken” people which was so different from what I am familiar with. I mean I can hardly believe that this sort of life does exist not for from Bangkok. I think they have their own language even! I really admire them, the Mokens.

I was also amazed by their sense against Tsunami 4 years ago. I mean I should know they are familiar with living by the ocean, but thinking about the fishermen in the same area, they both are no difference, OK, except the ways of life. So, I guess that's what made none of the Mokens lost their lives in the incident.

I really hope more chance to see something like this again

+ Green Time +

It’s been almost a month I haven’t written anything on my blog. Yes, I’ve been absolutely busy. I didn’t have time for myself then. But so very soon, I definitely will. Yay!

Earlier this month, it was a Buddhist holiday. As we never do anything religious, we decided to have a green time instead.

Apart from the wonderful parks in Europe, I think Rama IX Park is the most beautiful one I’ve ever visited and would love to, again and again, if I can bear the heat. :P

It was such a wonderful beautiful day when we paid a visit, and I still remember how happy I was, surrounded by green nature, colorful flowers and blue blue sky.
